Experience Atlanta with Local Library Tours and Events During ALA Midwinter

The Georgia Library Association and Special Libraries Association - Georgia Chapter are pleased to announce a series of library tours being offered during the ALA Midwinter Meeting in Atlanta, January 20-24, 2017.

Conference attendees and local library professionals are invited to tour a selection of the city's new and unique libraries, including the CNN Library, Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, Gensler, and the Auburn Avenue Research Library.

Joint SLA-GA, SGA, MALA, GLA-SLD Happy Hour!

It’s a veritable alphabet soup of local professional associations! Join us later this month for a Dutch treat happy hour and networking event with your fellow Atlanta-area library, archives, and information professionals.

This combined event is sponsored by the Special Libraries Association Georgia Chapter, the Society of Georgia Archivists, the Metro-Atlanta Library Association, and the Georgia Library Association’s Special Libraries division.

WHEN: Tuesday, 2/23, from 5:30-7:30 pm

Front Page News will validate parking if you use their valet service. Other paid garages and street parking are available in the area. The restaurant is a short walk from the Midtown station if traveling by MARTA.
